When should I book my senior session?
To secure your preferred date, I recommend booking your photoshoot at least 4–6 weeks in advance. That said, I understand life can be unpredictable - I’m often able to accommodate last-minute appointments when my schedule allows.
Where should I take my Senior Photos?
Urban? Nature? What speaks most to your style? We will discuss location options that suit your style once you've booked. I have several location options that we can discuss and I can show you sample images from each of those options too.
what time do you shoot?
I typically shoot most sessions starting about 2-3 hours before sunset. I offer sunrise sessions as well which I absolutely love – that light is incomparable! I will only shoot one session in the afternoon and one in the morning, so your session is exclusive to that time of day and you will be my only client. This is how I can assure you have my full attention during your session. Plan for up to a 90 minute session.
What should I wear? How Many outfits?
1. Dress to Impress: Choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Your senior photos are a chance to showcase your personality and style.
2. Think Timeless over Threndy: While it’s great to express your style, avoid overly trendy pieces that may quickly date your photos. Opt for classic, flattering looks that will stand the test of time.
3. Consider Location: Consider the setting of your session. Soft, earthy tones work beautifully in parks or natural areas, while bold, vibrant colors pop in urban environments.
4. Layer and Accessorize: Jackets, scarves, jewelry, hats, and fun shoes can add variety and depth to your photos.
Most seniors choose one primary outfit, but you’re welcome to bring two or three options for variety. I’m happy to offer input on what will photograph best if you’d like help deciding.
You can plan to receive about 75-100 photos. All photos will be edited and returned to you through an online viewing gallery which allows you to view, share and download photos as you please.
